Hi.  I’m Sheila.  As a business broker and advisor, I successfully guide sellers and buyers through the business transfer process.  I’ve done this for several years and understand the challenges faced by both parties in the transaction.

I am associated with Murphy Business & Financial , one of the largest and most successful full-service business brokerage firms in North America.  At Murphy Business, we facilitate sales of privately held main street and lower middle-market companies.  Our services include merger and acquisition, business brokerage, business valuations, machinery/equipment appraisals, and consulting.

I’m educated in business brokerage and business valuation methodology.  I received the Certified Business Intermediary Designation in 2006 from the International Business Brokers Association.  I’m a licensed Idaho real estate broker and have completed all the course work for the commercial real estate Certified Commercial Investment Member education.

And because I was a commercial lender for over 20 years, I know how bankers think and what they need to have to successfully finance your business transaction.  When I was a banker, I graduated from the masters-level program called Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

I can read your financial statements, crunch your numbers and tell you what it means.  Also, I started and ran two economic development centers providing business start-up, financing consulting services and training to hundreds of entrepreneurs.
