Experience
I am a Business Intermediary and Business Appraiser
with Murphy Business & Financial -Mountain West serving the Treasure Valley including Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Meridian, Weiser, Payette, McCall and surrounding areas. My 30 year career in finance includes business brokerage, business valuation analyst/appraiser, and commercial and SBA lending, I have sold numerous businesses, generally representing sellers, developing the confidential business analysis and finding buyers. I assist buyers in obtaining acquisition financing and specialize in Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. I have prepared many business valuations for buy/sell transactions in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing, retail, medical, service, and construction.
Background
Prior to joining Murphy Business & Financial, I operated my own business brokerage firm. I also founded and launched the Boise Zions Bank Business Resource Center, and relaunched the Idaho-SBA Women’s Business Center, two business-consulting organizations focused on financial counseling and training for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs seeking to start, grow, and succeed in their companies. Prior to that, I held the position of Vice President-Commercial & SBA (Small Business Administration) Lending at several national and regional banking institutions.
